There was no surprise when 7th rankedSaints (9-8) were defeated on the road by second ranked Birmingham Univ. (15-5) 95-77 on Saturday. Birmingham Univ. forced 23 St. Helens S. turnovers and outrebounded them 53-41 including 21 on the offensive glass. Birmingham Univ. looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Ronald Oberia (193-1997) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 7 rebounds and Damian Ogodan who added 17 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Birmingham Univ. players scored in double figures. Forward Connor Murtagh (196-1994) responded with 32 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized American guard Disraeli Lufadeju (186-1992) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Birmingham Univ. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Worcester. Loser Saints keeps the seventh place with eight games lost.
